Tips for smoother turnovers

  • Ask for photos at the end. One photo per room shows you the place is ready, and gives you a dated record if the next guest says something was missing.
  • Keep a spare set of linens and towels in the unit, so a late laundry pickup never holds up check-in.
  • Lost and found: ask your cleaner to bag anything left behind and tell you. Message the guest through Airbnb.
  • Change the door code between guests if you use a smart lock or a code lockbox. In GoTuloy, rotate the stay code after every check-out.
  • Restock list: note what ran out on the checklist, so you buy it before the next guest notices.
