Prepare the building guest list

Many condo buildings ask hosts to send guests' names, and sometimes a plate number, before arrival. Stays keeps those details in one place and writes the email for you.

Before you start: tell guests in your listing

If your building needs guest names, IDs or plate numbers, say so in your Airbnb listing description so guests know before they book. Collect the details through Airbnb messages, then add them in Stays.

Add a stay

1. Open Stays in the sidebar and press Add stay.
2. Choose the property and enter the check-in and check-out dates and the number of guests.
3. Add guest names, one per line as written on their IDs, and the plate number if they're bringing a car.

Send the building admin email

1. Press Admin email on the stay.
2. Check the details, then press Copy message and Copy subject, or Open in email app.

Set the building and unit once in Properties → Settings so the email names them correctly. Guests never see this.

What else Stays does

• When guests tap "We are N guests and have read the house rules" on your page, it shows on the matching stay.
• When they tap "Done, we've checked out", you get an email and the stay shows the time.
• Guest names and plate numbers are deleted automatically 7 days after check-out. Dates and guest counts stay for your records.
